Seven of us walked on a lovely warm summer’s day - temperature in the mid twenties - but with much woodland shade and water stops and not walking so fast everyone completed the walk well. We walked from Cadmore End down and up to Ibstone House and on the way were lucky enough to see in two locations a large herd of deer in and then running across a field. Then to Ibstone church for a water stop by the one thousand year old yew tree. Down and up again into Idlecombe Wood and then we came out on the bridleway from Turville Court to one of the best views in the Chilterns with the vista above the Turville valley with fields covered in buttercups. Down to the picturesque village of Turville and along to Fingest church and then around Hanger Wood back to the church of St Mary Le Moor at Cadmore End.   A very enjoyable walk with several hills providing outstanding views and with good company.
